Safety Light Curtains

Safety light curtains are designed to create an invisible sensing field or barrier around machinery or equipment. They detect the presence of objects or personnel within this field and trigger a safety stop to prevent accidents or injuries. Light curtains consist of an emitter and a receiver unit, which are typically installed opposite each other. The emitter emits an array of infrared light beams, while the receiver detects these beams. When an object interrupts one or more of the beams, the light curtain sends a signal to the machinery’s control system to stop or halt operation. They come in various sizes, resolutions, and protective heights to accommodate different types of machinery and production environments.
